Codentricks (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Srishti Launcher mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
Srishti Launcher is designed as a privacy-first application. Most of the data processed by the app stays locally on your device.
Application Data: To display your app list and launch applications, we access the list of installed packages on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
Wallpaper and Media: We use permissions to access your selected images to set them as your system wallpaper. These files remain on your device.
Sensors and Physical Activity: We use the ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION permission to track step counts locally to display them on your home screen.
Calendar Access: If granted, we read your local calendar events to display “Today’s Events” or holidays on the dashboard.
To provide the launcher’s features, we request the following permissions:
Storage/Media: To pick and apply custom wallpapers.
Calendar: To show upcoming events on the home screen.
Physical Activity: To provide the built-in step counter functionality.
System Settings: To change the device wallpaper via WallpaperManager.
We do not use any external databases to store your personal information. Your launcher preferences, such as hidden apps or custom settings, are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
Our app does not currently use third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. However, should we integrate services like Google Analytics or AdMob in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
