Xubuntu 18.04 review and comparison against other flavor

As we known Ubuntu is one of the most famous linux distro and its comes in many flavor, like ubuntu with Gnome Environment called Ubuntu, Ubuntu with KDE Plasma Desktop called Kubuntu, Ubuntu with XFCE called Xubuntu and ubuntu with LXDE environment called Lubuntu and so on… In this post I am going to share my experience with ubuntu’s most underrated distro called xubuntu and comparing with it’s other distro.

Let me first indroduce my System Hardware :
Acer Emachine 732z Laptop
Dual core pentium 6100 processor
4GB DDR3 1333mHZ RAM
320GB 5400rmp Hardisk
OS – Xubuntu 18.04 (Iso Size : 1.3GB)

I bought this laptop around 2011 means its 7 year old hardware. Remember all benchmark is specific to my hardware.

Tested using a app htop task manager.

Bugs : Tried to install Kingsoft /WPS office but get so many dependency problem, one of them is libpng12-0 , installed libpng-dev but still not able to install Kingsoft /WPS office. Samba sharing did not work.
