Desktop Experience :
Kubuntu 17.04 is responsive, uses less ram, as we know graphically stunning(as using KDE). In 2 days of uses I come across multiple bugs Kmail crashes, some system crashes, despite crashes its seems to me stable enough for daily uses. Software Manager is not user friendly , For me Synaptic is best package manager for ubuntu based distros.
Kubuntu should have use thunderbird instead of Kmail and WPS office instead of Libra office , user experience will be quite good.
I have to installed some application like
- Gimp
- Filezilla
- Chromium
- VLC
- Installed Codecs
and going to install
Overall Kubuntu experience is quite good, now I am going to recommend it to my friends. If somebody ask for rating then I will give 7 out of 10.
Nice review but I disagree that WPS office should be installed. WPS for Linux was discontinued almost a year ago.
Do you have any idea regarding Libra Office Alternative ….
Great post! Have nice day ! 🙂 vxbfz
